Diman photo students show off their best work at Narrows
The Narrows Center for the Arts has hosted many nationally and internationally known artists in their front gallery, from Richie Havens to Anthony Quinn.
So 16-year-old Eric LePage is pumped to have his photo of Wilbur Woods in Little Compton, R.I., hanging in that same space. Story continues
Photo Club at the Narrows Center
Come see "ON THE STREET WHERE WE LIVE", a collection of photographs taken by the Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School Photography Club students.
We will have an opening reception on Saturday, 5/25 from 12-2 at the Narrows Center. The exhibit will run until June 15.
Through the eyes of a camera lens, twenty-six students have documented their individual perspectives on their communities, their own lives, and ultimately their world. Within their photographs, we catch a glimpse of the ordinary made extraordinary, and the humdrum of small town life made exciting. These local scenes are comprised of four communities, Fall River, Westport, Swansea, and Somerset, Massachusetts. These students are led by instructors, Ms. Michelle Gaudencio and Mr. Paul Beaudoin of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.
Photography Club Exhibit at Narrows
The Diman Photography Club (SNAP!) exhibit opened at the Narrows Center for the Arts on Sunday, May 6th. 75 photographs, taken by students and club advisors, were on display for the public. The exhibit will continue throughout the month of May, and includes a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Diman Photography Club.
From the June 2012 edition of the Tradesman.
